Legal Counsel | Family Office | London
Major, Lindsey & Africa has been exclusively retained to recruit a Legal Counsel on behalf of a leading family office based in London.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a highly regarded and collaborative legal team, advising on a broad range of strategic and operational matters across a dynamic investment and business portfolio. Working closely with senior leadership, including members of the executive team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting complex transactions, commercial initiatives and business-critical legal matters.

The role offers exceptional breadth and variety, encompassing corporate transactions, commercial contracting, governance, risk management and general legal advisory work. It is ideally suited to a lawyer who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and partnering closely with stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.
The successful candidate will have approximately 10+ years' post-qualification experience, with a strong foundation in a leading law firm and significant exposure to corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, investments and strategic transactions. Candidates may already be in-house or remain in private practice, but should demonstrate a commercial mindset, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate confidently across a diverse range of legal issues. Exposure to employment, disputes or other general commercial matters would be advantageous.
