Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We need someone commercially fluent enough to understand how data and technology products actually work, and experienced enough to negotiate and close major agreements with limited supervision.

What you will do in this role:

  • Commercial contracting: You will manage drafting, review and negotiation of the Group's B2B agreements: SaaS and subscription terms, enterprise contracts, order forms, vendor and procurement agreements, NDAs and similar commercial agreements.
  • Data licensing and commercialisation: You will draft and negotiate data supply, licensing, redistribution and API agreements, working with product and data teams to make sure contract terms match how data is actually used.
  • SaaS, product and contracting framework: You will advise across the commercial lifecycle of the Group's SaaS and API products, and take a leading role in developing and maintaining the relevant contracting framework.
  • Vendor contracts and IP: You will negotiate technology and data vendor agreements and advise on legal matters across software, datasets, APIs and models.
  • Strategic and cross-functional work: You will support the VP Legal on contract migrations, post-acquisition integration, new commercial models and material contract due diligence, and contribute to improving templates, playbooks and legal tech.

What you bring to the team:

  • Qualified lawyer in Greece and/or England and Wales (or another relevant jurisdiction).
  • 5+ years PQE in B2B commercial contracting, with SaaS, technology or data licensing as a core part of that experience.
  • Track record of independently leading negotiations on data licensing, SaaS or API agreements from term sheet to signature.
  • Comfortable assessing IP and data rights questions (ownership, derived data, redistribution).
  • Working understanding of privacy and data protection issues as they arise in commercial contracts.
  • Confident negotiating directly with senior counterparties and internal commercial stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
