The successful candidate will work closely with agency and business stakeholders to help deliver creative and marketing campaigns while managing legal and regulatory risk. The role requires strong technical legal skills, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to advise confidently in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

Intellectual Property & Content Review

  • Advise on copyright, trade marks, designs, passing off, and other IP issues arising in creative, marketing, and production activities.
  • Review campaign concepts, scripts, storyboards, creative assets, and production materials to identify and mitigate IP risks.
  • Advise on ownership, licensing, and exploitation of intellectual property rights.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate IP licenses, assignments, and permissions.
  • Review third-party content arrangements, including photography, music, stock assets, user-generated content, and AI-generated content.
  • Advise on talent, influencer, and contributor agreements from an IP and rights perspective.

Production Legal Support

  • Support production teams on all legal and clearance aspects of content creation.
  • Review and negotiate production agreements, talent agreements, location releases, contributor releases, and supplier contracts.
  • Advise on rights acquisition, chain of title, and usage rights.
  • Assist with dispute avoidance and risk management during production and content exploitation.
  • Develop practical guidance and template documents for production teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
