Job Description
This is a hybrid role. As Legal Counsel, Corporate and M&A you will be responsible for supporting the company's corporate and M&A activities, ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Reporting to our Group Head of Legal - Corporate and International, you will be part of the Corporate legal team. This team provides legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate and strategic legal matters. Additionally, they build strong relationships across a large group of internal stakeholders and manage complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You Will:
- Assist with executing transactions across the capital structure, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate transactions
- Lead on ancillary transaction and other corporate documentation, including NDAs and engagement letters (working with, and managing, external counsel where appropriate)
- Support the preparation of internal papers summarising proposed transactions (and risks associated with the same) for review and approval by the board of Entain plc
- Support the business on other corporate initiatives as required (including group reorganisations, restructurings and intragroup financing arrangements)
- Help with the development of policies and processes to support the Corporate Legal function

Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate law (3+ years PQE), with a focus on mergers and acquisitions
- Excellent understanding of corporate governance principles
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in drafting complex legal agreements
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a corporate legal department or reputable law firm
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
