Your new role

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will have a dual focus on commercial generalist matters, including negotiating contracts (both private and public sector) and advising risk across the business' transport, retail, infrastructure, advertising and regulatory interests. You will also support the DPO in advising on key data protection matters, including advising on data processing activities and ensuring internal policies and procedures are fit for purpose. Working within a team of six lawyers, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business as needed, ensuring legal is at the forefront of all innovative conversations.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an E&W or Commonwealth qualified lawyer with proven in-house experience in commercial and data protection matters (CIPP/E or equivalent data privacy qualifications are welcomed, but not mandatory). The hiring manager is open to applicants from different market industries, as long as they are able to commute to the Central London office three days per week. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
