Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Providing strategic legal advice across the UKI and Iberia region and selected EMEA markets, including matters related to risk, competition, and regulatory compliance
  • Supporting product lifecycle management and launches by advising on medical device regulations, marketing law, and commercial strategy
  • Advising on direct-to-consumer business models, including contractual matters and consumer protection requirements
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements across various business functions
  • Leading legal support for the MiniMed separation project and overseeing corporate governance compliance
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and implementing appropriate business responses
  • Managing disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations in collaboration with external counsel
  • Delivering compliance training and managing relationships with stakeholders and external legal advisors

Required Knowledge And Experience

  • Legal qualifications, admission to practice law required
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience, with a combination of law firm and in-house experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish law and EU regulatory frameworks, with working familiarity with other legal systems
  • Healthcare, medical device, or life sciences experience strongly preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential
