Job Opportunity

Our client are a diversified energy trading company looking to recruit a mid-level lawyer, 2+ PQE, for their busy London legal team.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate is likely to have 2+ PQE and could well be working in a law firm, looking to make their first move in-house. Candidates with energy finance, corporate energy, energy disputes or energy trading experience are of interest.

What You'll Do

Full training and support will be provided to get up to speed quickly - particularly for those coming from a disputes background. Candidates outside of this range and profile will be considered.

You will work on a broad range of financing and trading matters covering both physically and financially settled metals, gas, power, greens and LNG. For the right individual a wider range of legal work will be on offer to include structuring / corporate and there is an expectation you will sit alongside the business teams from day one. Someone with an interest and aptitude for commercial decision making will do really well here.
