Legal Counsel – Exclusive Role – Glasgow (Hybrid working)
Are you a newly qualified solicitor or legal professional with up to two years' post-qualification experience looking to develop your career in-house?
Our client operates internationally, from its headquarters in Glasgow, and has a turnover of over £1/4 billion.
They are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Legal Counsel to join the Group legal team and provide legal support across the business.
Reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation on a range of commercial and operational legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad in-house experience while working closely with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating client contracts and commercial agreements
- Advising on contract-related queries and providing practical legal guidance
- Providing legal advice on day-to-day operational matters and ad hoc projects
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
- From time to time:
- Assisting with debt recovery matters
- Supporting insurance claims and related legal issues
- Assisting with the enforcement of restrictive covenants
Essential Criteria
- A qualified solicitor with between 0- 2 years' PQE
- Candidates from Practice or In-house are both encouraged to apply.
- Contract review experience is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client relationship management skills
