About the Role

We are looking for a business-oriented Legal Counsel to join our legal team and support our international operations. In this role, you will work closely with our Global Legal Counsel and business teams to provide practical legal guidance, primarily focusing on commercial contracts, data privacy, and regulatory aspects of clinical research.

Our organization operates in the clinical research ecosystem, helping pharmaceutical companies and research organizations recruit and engage patients for clinical trials through digital platforms and global patient communities.

This role offers the opportunity to work on international contracts, complex privacy questions, and global clinical trial regulations, while contributing to the development of an efficient and modern legal function that leverages AI and LegalTech tools.

As a Legal Counsel (f/m/d), you would be responsible for:

  • Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements with customers, partners, and service providers, including SaaS, service, and cooperation agreements.
  • Reviewing and working with English-language contracts influenced by US contract law concepts.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on data privacy and data protection topics, including GDPR and relevant US privacy frameworks.
  • Supporting the legal team in navigating international clinical trial regulations and patient recruitment frameworks.
  • Providing legal guidance on patient data processing and digital patient engagement.
  • Supporting compliance with global clinical research frameworks such as ICH-GCP, FDA guidance, and EMA guidance.
  • Helping translate complex legal requirements into practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Supporting the development of efficient legal processes using AI and LegalTech tools.
  • Monitoring developments in privacy law, clinical research regulation, and digital health.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
