Rev & Regs are recruiting for a new 'Legal Counsel' role on behalf of a global Asset Management company in London.
About the Role
As a Legal Counsel, you will:
- Support the legal implementation of product development and regulatory changes across global fund ranges, including reviewing fund documentation and drafting shareholder notices.
- Draft and negotiate institutional client, investment management, distribution, and other commercial agreements.
- Review and negotiate third-party fund service provider agreements.
- Support sustainability-related regulatory requirements, including SFDR and UK sustainability disclosure requirements.
- Provide legal advice to internal business teams and support cross-functional projects.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the business.
- Use approved AI tools to support legal drafting, research, and review, and contribute to the team's adoption of AI.
- Work with external counsel across different jurisdictions as required.

Required Experience
- 2+ years' post-qualification experience, gained in private practice or an investment management business.
- Good knowledge of the UK FCA regulatory framework; experience with UCITS, AIFMD, and/or MiFID II is desirable.
- Experience with investment management, distribution, platform, and/or commercial agreements.
- Experience supporting fund product changes and related documentation.
- Knowledge of sustainability-related financial services regulation, such as SFDR and/or UK SDR.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted legal tools such as Claude or equivalent is an advantage.

Job Details
- Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in City of London office)
- Salary: £120,000 to £135,000 pa + bonus + benefits package (Depends on experience)
