An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join a next generation law firm specialising in private markets transactions.

The firm provides a comprehensive suite of services that go beyond traditional transactional legal advice; they function as the client’s in-house General Counsel or Chief Operating Officer, providing seamless support across all stages of the investment process and closing deals.

They bring extensive expertise across a wide range of legal issues, including fund formation, legal due diligence, and complex fund restructuring to their Private Equity, Private Credit and Venture Capital clients.

Key Purpose of Role

The firm is looking for a lawyer with experience working with private markets funds or M&A to join them as Legal Counsel/Transaction lawyer offering a role with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.

The role is fully remote working and can be based anywhere across the world.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • 2+ PQE of experience at a law firm or in-house
  • Experience with private equity funds and/or M&A experience.
  • Transactional experience.
  • Used to working in a high-pace environment.
  • Comfortable with working remotely.
