About this role

Lead on commercial partnership agreements and related legal issues globally.

  • Review and negotiate partner and corporate customer-facing contracts, amendments and non-standard legal requests, and escalate material risk positions when required.
  • Review and negotiate supplier and other third party contracts, including talent and sponsorship agreements, joint promotions with third parties, SaaS agreements, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage standard terms and conditions and partner policies, and provide support on the full lifecycle of the partner experience including onboarding, activation, pricing and retail media.
  • Build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders, and provide strategic legal support for launches, pilots and contract implementation issues linked to the assigned portfolio.
  • Manage disputes and contract interpretation matters and coordinate external counsel support where needed.
  • Create and scale self-service tooling for all contracting matters, including templates, playbooks and tech/AI solutions.
  • Coordinate with Platform & Consumer, Logistics & People, Competition, PA, compliance and operational stakeholders where issues have wider regulatory, reputational or cross-market implications.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial contracts and day-to-day business legal support is required.
  • Ability to negotiate practical contract positions and explain legal risk clearly to commercial stakeholders is required.
  • Experience handling recurring legal matters in a sales, partnerships or customer-facing environment is required.
  • Drafting, organisation and issue-spotting skills are required.
  • Ability to work within templates, guardrails and escalation routes while maintaining delivery speed is required.
  • Experience in a multi-country consumer, marketplace or digital business is preferred.
  • Strong English language skills are required, and another language (e.g. Dutch, German, Italian, Polish or Spanish) is beneficial.

This role helps the local market move faster on partner and commercial activity by giving timely legal support on recurring contracts and issues. It improves execution quality, reduces contract risk and strengthens consistency between local decisions and central legal standards.
