Job Description

We are working with a Global powerhouse in their search for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to provide practical, commercially focused legal support across a diverse range of business activities within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier, partnership, licensing, franchise, ecommerce, technology, outsourcing, and finance-related contracts.
  • Advising on commercial disputes, litigation, and risk management matters.
  • Supporting marketing and ecommerce teams on advertising, promotions, digital activity, and regulatory compliance, including drafting related terms and conditions.
  • Managing wholesale and concession agreements with suppliers and business partners.
  • Advising on intellectual property matters, including brand licensing and third-party licensing arrangements.
  • Supporting customer service teams with complaints, disputes, and small claims matters.
  • Assisting with M&A transactions, including due diligence, transactional documents, and post-completion support.
  • Liaising with regulators and enforcement bodies on compliance and customer-related issues.
  • Managing external legal counsel where specialist support is required.
  • Supporting senior legal colleagues and supervising junior team members.

Candidate Profile:

  • UK Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of a business.
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to legal advice.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and motivated to develop within a large international organisation.
