We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our collaborative legal team and play a key role in supporting commercial growth, managing contractual risk, and contributing to a wide range of corporate legal activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships, and helping teams achieve successful outcomes while maintaining high standards of integrity and governance.
What You'll Be Doing
You will work closely with commercial, sales, bid management, finance, and leadership teams in our social care and education division, providing practical legal advice and support.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading and supporting customer contract negotiations and contract formation activities
- Advising on contract management throughout the contract lifecycle
- Drafting and negotiating contract amendments, renewals, and variations
- Supporting procurement, tendering, and commercial activities
- Leading and supporting supplier and business partner contracting
- Providing advice on corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, employment-related matters, and general corporate affairs
- Supporting the retention, protection, and licensing of intellectual property
- Assisting with data protection and information governance matters
- Delivering guidance and training to commercial and bid teams
- Supporting the General Counsel on a broad range of strategic legal matters

What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from legally qualified professionals, ideally solicitors, who bring experience in commercial contracting and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
You'll Ideally Have
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Exposure to technology, software licensing, SaaS, data protection, or healthcare IT environments
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership
