LEGAL COUNSEL – MOVING IN HOUSE [SOME KNOWLEDGE OF PENSIONS
FLEXIBLE WORKING – GLASGOW OR EDINBURGH
An established professional services organisation is looking for a lawyer with some pensions experience to join its in-house legal team.
Your pensions knowledge could have been gained during your training contract, in private practice, or while working within a financial services organisation. You don’t need to be a disputes specialist — we can provide the support and development you need to build your dispute resolution expertise.
You’ll join a team of 13 lawyers and advise across a varied business covering pensions, investment, financial services and financial planning.

What will you do?
- You’ll act as a trusted internal adviser, helping colleagues understand and resolve legal issues, including:
- Providing practical advice on disputes and potential disputes.
- Investigating issues and recommending solutions.
- Working with business and client teams to manage legal risk.
- Drafting legal documents and working with external lawyers where required.
- Supporting complaints involving the Pensions Ombudsman and Financial Ombudsman Service.
