About us
Sharegain began with one question: If the largest institutions solely exercise the right to lend their stocks, bonds, and ETFs, what would it take to unlock this revenue opportunity for every investor?
Our team of experts in the US, UK and Israel built the solution: a platform that empowers online brokers, private banks, and wealth managers to offer securities lending to their clients. We call it SLaaS: Securities Lending as a Service. It’s a fully digital, customizable, end-to-end solution that automates front- and back-office operations. Institutions and investors are now free to earn more from what they own.
Every Sharegainer has their own backstory, but we all share an ambition to do things differently – bigger, better, and greater. Together we’re on a mission to democratize capital markets by building a more liquid world. The more we share, the more we all gain.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the General Counsel (based in London) and work under their guidance to develop across the legal function
- Support the negotiation of product agreements (e.g. trading/lending agreements based on ISLA standards, agency and collateral agreements), with senior oversight, growing towards greater ownership over time
- Assist the legal function across multiple generalist areas including commercial aspects, intellectual property, data protection and employment law, and provide support on various legal matters as needed
- Review and negotiate day-to-day third-party contracts, including vendor agreements and NDAs, escalating more complex matters as needed, and assisting with procurement onboarding as needed
- Work closely with our Sales, Strategy, Operations and Product teams to provide commercial-minded legal support
- Conduct research on legal and regulatory issues to help address queries from business stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
