SightGlass Vision, Inc. (SGV), a joint venture company between CooperVision (CVI) and EssilorLuxottica (EL), is the inventor and manufacturer of novel spectacle lenses that have proven to strongly reduce the progression of myopia in children. With this game-changing technology in hand, we are poised to improve the lives of millions of children worldwide.

This role will focus primarily on commercial contracts and providing support to the Senior Legal Counsel on a wide range of day-to-day legal and compliance matters, related to SightGlass Vision’s business operations internationally. You will work closely with colleagues across key business functions, including operations, medical affairs, and sales and marketing, helping the business move forward while managing legal risk in a practical and proportionate way.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional with approximately 2 years post-qualification experience looking to build their in-house career within a small but growing and commercially focused organisation.

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including cross-border agreements, such as distribution agreements, software licenses, confidentiality agreements, clinical trial agreements, and services agreements.
  • Provide practical advice on contractual rights, obligations, and dispute resolution.
  • Deliver commercially focused advice that supports business objectives while effectively managing legal risk.
  • Liaise with external legal advisers where required, under the direction of the Senior Legal Counsel.
  • Support the Senior Legal Counsel with a range of day-to-day legal and compliance matters, including intellectual property, employment, and data protection matters.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes, templates, systems, and ways of working.
  • Review marketing materials and promotional claims to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with the management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio and support the handling of IP infringement matters.
  • Monitor and report on relevant legal and regulatory developments that may impact the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
