Our client is a London-based private markets investment platform sitting within a substantial global asset management group, combining the specialist feel of a private markets manager with the resources and governance of a major institution. The private markets legal team is currently hiring for a Legal Counsel focused on fund and product matters.
You will advise across fund launches and restructures, deal execution, investor relations and compliance, handling queries on LPAs, IMAs, side letters and related fund documentation, managing external counsel, and supporting junior colleagues. The role spans all four asset classes but is weighted towards private equity and infrastructure.

We are looking for a solicitor with circa 2-4 years' PQE, gained in the funds practice of a leading City or international law firm, or in-house with a funds focus, ideally within a private markets fund manager or asset management business. The team is open-minded about candidates from across the private markets spectrum. You will be a proactive, personable self-starter with strong communication skills, resilience under pressure, and sound commercial judgement.
