Legal Counsel - Property
An established West Midlands-based organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel - Property to join its legal team. This is a rare opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of property matters, supporting everything from development projects and acquisitions through to landlord and tenant issues, planning matters, and property disputes.
This role would suit a lawyer who enjoys variety, wants greater commercial exposure, and is keen to broaden their skillset beyond pure transactional real estate work.
The Role
Working closely with an experienced property legal team, the Legal Counsel - Property you will advise on a wide range of matters including:
- Property acquisitions and disposals, leases, licenses, and asset management matters
- Development projects and plot sales
- Commercial property transactions
- Due diligence on acquisitions
- Landlord and tenant issues
- Service charge matters
- Planning and enforcement notices
- Property-related disputes and leaseholder matters
- Managing relationships with external legal advisers
- Supporting operational teams on a variety of property-related projects

About You
You will ideally:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with approximately 1-3 years' PQE
- Have a solid grounding in commercial property or real estate work
- Be interested in developing expertise across a broad range of property disciplines
- Enjoy working closely with stakeholders and providing practical advice
- Be comfortable managing your own workload and taking ownership of matters
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and tackle unfamiliar issues
