The Arora Group
The Arora Group is one of the UK’s largest family-owned businesses, leveraging synergies across its specialist property, construction and hotel divisions. Since 1999, the Group has built its standing by managing projects meticulously from inception to delivery and beyond. Today, it owns and manages a diverse portfolio of flagship assets valued at more than £3bn across key business locations in the UK and Ireland, partnering with some of the world’s most recognised brands to deliver consistently high levels of service and sustainable growth. Recent acquisitions include the landmark Novotel London West and Metro Building in Hammersmith, and the iconic “MOJ Building” at 102 Petty France, St James. Live projects include the construction of the new Sofitel hotel at Dublin Airport, the redevelopment of the iconic Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa, and the Group’s proposal for the expansion of Heathrow Airport.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded non-contentious property lawyer to join our in-house legal team. The core focus of the role will be asset management of a large and diverse property portfolio, including shopping centres, hotels and other commercial premises. The role will also involve acquisitions, disposals and other bespoke property matters.
The role would suit a lawyer with strong private practice training who has experience leading transactions, taking ownership of legal workstreams and working closely with colleagues across the business. Although PQE is not determinative, we anticipate that the role would suit a lawyer with at least five years’ post-qualification experience who is technically proficient, confident managing matters independently and experienced in engaging directly with counterparties and external advisers.
This is an opportunity to join a lean, high-performing in-house legal function at the centre of a dynamic and substantial privately owned property, hotel and development business, with direct exposure to senior decision-makers and a broad range of commercially significant matters.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
