REAL ESTATE LITIGATION | LEGAL DIRECTOR | BIRMINGHAM | UP TO £112,000 + 20% BONUS

I’m currently working with a Top 30 international law firm that is looking to appoint a Legal Director to join its award-winning Real Estate Litigation team in Birmingham.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Real Estate Litigation lawyer to join a highly regarded national practice, working alongside the wider Real Estate team and taking a leading role on complex, high-value commercial property disputes.

The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, sophisticated clients and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of an established and successful team.

The Role

You’ll manage a complex and varied caseload of commercial property disputes, including:

  • Opposed and unopposed lease renewals
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Break options
  • Dilapidations
  • Rights of way
  • Boundary disputes
  • Trespass and nuisance
  • Possession proceedings
  • Insolvency-related property disputes
  • Advising clients on strategic and commercially focused dispute resolution

You will also:

  • Work closely with clients to provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
  • Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Real Estate Litigation practice
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support new business development and growth across existing and prospective clients
  • Work closely with the transactional Real Estate team and wider national practice

The Package

  • Salary: Up to £112,000
  • Bonus: Up to 20%
  • Hybrid working available
