Overview
We are supporting a leading consultancy on a significant Legal Entity Rationalisation and business simplification programme for a major UK insurance organisation.
The end client has experienced substantial growth over a number of years, including through acquisition, resulting in a complex group structure spanning multiple businesses, legal entities and operating models.
As the organisation continues to evolve, there is now a significant programme underway to simplify and consolidate various areas of the group, including legal entity rationalisation and closure, alongside the operational integration required to achieve this successfully.

We are looking for an experienced Programme Lead / Senior Project Manager who combines strong insurance operations knowledge, M&A integration experience, and Legal Entity Rationalisation expertise.
The role is not simply about managing the legal mechanics of closing entities. The successful individual needs to understand the operational implications of consolidation and coordinate activity across Legal, Finance, Tax, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Data, and People.

They will take ownership of the programme from an operational delivery perspective, establishing the roadmap, sequencing activity, managing dependencies, driving actions and decisions, and ensuring the various areas of the organisation come together to achieve successful consolidation and closure.
The strongest profile will have operated within an acquisition-led insurance environment and understand the journey from:

This is an initial 12-month Outside IR35 engagement, predominantly remote with occasional travel to London.
