Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your programme

As a Legal Graduate, you'll join our wider Anglian Water graduate cohort while completing a two-year training contract within our in-house Legal team. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience across a range of legal specialisms while developing a deep understanding of the water industry and the role the legal team plays in supporting the Anglian Water business.

Throughout the programme, you'll work alongside experienced solicitors and legal professionals, building practical experience in areas such as property, commercial contracts, legal compliance, environmental and regulatory law and litigation. You'll contribute to real business projects, provide legal support to colleagues across the organisation, assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents and help manage a varied and interesting workload. Whether supporting major infrastructure projects, advising on commercial agreements, or helping the business navigate regulatory requirements, you'll gain exposure to work that makes a meaningful difference to our customers, communities and the environment.

Alongside your day-to-day work, you'll receive structured support and guidance from qualified solicitors as you work towards qualifying as a solicitor, developing the technical, commercial and professional skills needed for a successful legal career.
