This role is for one of our clients

Compensation: $80 - $160 per hour

We are seeking experienced professionals with expertise in legal affairs, grant writing and management, ESG strategy, compliance, public policy, or related fields to contribute to high-impact evaluation projects.

In this role, you will review, assess, and provide structured feedback on domain-specific documents and professional work products. You will use your industry knowledge and professional judgment to evaluate materials for quality, accuracy, completeness, clarity, and practical relevance.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who combine strong analytical skills with excellent written communication and a detailed understanding of their respective domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate legal, grant-related, ESG, policy, and compliance documents.
  • Assess professional work products for accuracy, quality, completeness, clarity, and relevance.
  • Provide objective, structured feedback based on established evaluation criteria.
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, gaps, compliance concerns, and areas requiring improvement.
  • Apply practical industry knowledge and professional judgment when evaluating documents.
  • Review proposals, policies, reports, presentations, applications, frameworks, and other domain-specific materials.
  • Compare and assess different outputs against defined standards and requirements.
  • Follow project-specific instructions, evaluation frameworks, and quality guidelines.
  • Document observations and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Maintain consistency and attention to detail across all assigned evaluation tasks.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant area such as legal services, grant writing, ESG, sustainability, public policy, compliance, or corporate responsibility.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inaccuracies or missing information.
  • Ability to work independently and follow structured guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong document review and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate complex professional materials.
  • Strong written reasoning and feedback skills.
  • Ability to apply structured evaluation criteria consistently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional judgment and attention to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate legal affairs, contract review, regulatory compliance, grant management, fundraising, ESG reporting, sustainability strategy, or public policy.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, corporate governance, or regulatory requirements.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing grant applications, funding proposals, legal documents, compliance materials, ESG reports, or policy documents.
  • Experience working with government agencies, nonprofits, foundations, corporations, or regulated organizations.
  • Background in research, consulting, compliance, quality assurance, or professional document evaluation is a plus.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be based in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, or Canada.
  • Strong English reading and writing skills are required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working remotely and independently.

Engagement Details

  • Fully remote opportunity.
  • Flexible work arrangement based on project requirements and agreed timelines.
  • Project scope, duration, and workload may vary according to business needs and performance.
  • Strong contributors may have opportunities to participate in additional evaluation and domain-specific projects.

Contract and Payment Terms

  • Engagement will be on an independent contractor basis.
  • Work can be completed remotely according to the agreed project schedule.
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.
  • The work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to any current or former employer, client, or institution.
  • Payments will be made weekly based on services rendered through available payment platforms.
