Our client, a leading US Law Firm is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to an impressive period of growth our client is looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team, where you will support the wider HR team and be responsible for coordinating the employee lifecycle that will include onboarding, immigration, background screening and performance review processes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an HR role, ideally within a Law firm or professional services firm, and be looking to progress their career onto the next stage.
This role is primarily office-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinator all preemployment screening, reference checks and background investigations
- Coordinate all preparations for new joiners
- Oversee visa and immigration processes
- Maintain accurate employee records including HR databases and HR files
- Support with coordination of payroll processes and benefits administration
- Coordinate the firms’ annual performance review
- Oversee probation reviews, ensuring timelines are tracked for new joiners
- Be confident acting as the go-to for any HR-related questions or queries
- Support HR Managers with investigations, disciplinaries and grievance matters
- Coordinate absence management

Key Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Law firm or professional services firm
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with colleagues of all levels across the firm
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team
- Experienced in a broad HR role, covering all aspects of HR and onboarding
- Good working knowledge of a Law firm
