Role Description
As a Legal Intern at Ackroyd Legal, you will support solicitors and legal teams with day-to-day casework and administrative tasks. Typical responsibilities include:

- Assisting in drafting and proofreading legal documents

You may observe client meetings, attend internal briefings, and contribute to internal knowledge resources. This internship role is on-site and based in Woking, providing direct exposure to a fast-paced legal environment and opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners.
Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently completed a law degree or equivalent legal studies, with a strong academic record.
- Demonstrated legal research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and legal commentary.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and interacting with clients in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments in a busy office environment.
- Proficiency with standard office software and legal research tools; familiarity with document management systems is an advantage.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Genuine interest in private practice and in developing a career within a client-focused, international law firm.
