ADP’S Internship Programme is now live!

We’re looking for enthusiastic students undertaking a placement year degree to join us for a 12-month paid legal internship in August 2027.

Location: Our Staines Office – 2 Causeway Park, The Causeway, Staines-Upon-Thames, TW18 3BF United Kingdom
Hybrid working: 3 days in office & 2 days from home
Start date: 30th August 2027

If you are looking to explore the world of corporate law and build real-life experience this internship is for you. You will have the support of your team and a dedicated mentor, balanced with the hands-on practice necessary to support your future career ambitions.

Things You'll Do:

  • Get involved with strategic projects which the legal department is working on
  • Learn about data privacy law and how it impacts customers and ADP itself
  • Write letters to customers on a variety of matters
  • Review contracts and understand the key important terms of those contracts and how they can be enforced
  • Understand how any legal department organises itself globally and in country
  • Incident management and the process of dealing with incidents within any business and work on root cause analysis documents
  • Prepare training for parts of the business on legal and commercial matters
  • Work with finance and credit control on debt collection matters understanding cash flow, customer insolvencies and company changes
  • Understand some of the regulatory framework around a business

What You'll Need:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills particularly written communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Willing to learn
  • Positive and determined attitude
  • High attention to detail

If your application is successful you will be invited for a telephone interview to discuss your skills and interest for the role. If successful after this you will be invited for a face to face interview at our Staines office along with a final stage interview with our Legal Director.
