About the Opportunity
Our Immigration Team advises both businesses and individuals on a broad range of UK immigration matters, with a particularly strong international and cross-border client base.
We welcome applications from law students and recent graduates and candidates considering a future career in law or immigration.
Depending on experience and availability, interns may have the opportunity to assist with:
- legal and immigration research;
- preparation and organisation of supporting evidence;
- drafting correspondence and basic legal documents under supervision;
- assisting with UK immigration applications and case preparation;
- reviewing and organising client information and documentation;
- legal file management and administrative support; and
- other work arising within a busy international immigration practice.

The internship is intended to provide practical exposure to real-life legal work and an opportunity to develop legal research, drafting, case management, and professional communication skills.
Who We Are Looking For
We would particularly welcome candidates who:
- are currently studying law at university or have recently graduated;
- have a genuine interest in UK immigration law and legal practice;
- demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills;
- have good written and verbal communication skills;
- are responsible, proactive, and willing to learn; and
- are able to handle confidential information professionally.
Chinese language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
Applications are welcome from students from different academic backgrounds. Previous legal work experience is helpful but not essential.

⏰ Working Pattern: Part-time or other arrangements may be considered depending on the candidate's availability and study commitments.
For suitable candidates, the internship provides an opportunity to gain first-hand experience of UK immigration practice within an international law firm and to work alongside experienced legal professionals on a diverse range of matters.
