Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team, supporting a fast-paced, dynamic business operating in a constantly evolving industry.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will work across a wide range of commercial contracts, supporting both client-facing and supplier-side activity, while partnering closely with teams across the business.

You will be trusted to make decisions, add commercial value, and help shape how legal supports the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiating high-value, complex commercial contracts for both UK and international operations
  • Leading on client agreements and strategically important supplier contracts
  • Partnering with teams across Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement and Operations to align on commercial and legal objectives
  • Supporting procurement exercises to ensure robust, fit-for-purpose terms and conditions
  • Advising on a wide range of technology-related matters, including SaaS agreements, software licensing, IT services agreements, cloud services and digital transformation projects
  • Working closely with Procurement and Technology teams to support business-critical projects and vendor relationships
  • Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice on contract interpretation and commercial options
  • Supporting and, where appropriate, leading on business-critical projects
  • Identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across the business
  • Delivering training and guidance to colleagues to build legal awareness and risk management capability
  • Maintaining and improving legal precedents, processes, and documentation
  • Supporting broader corporate and commercial legal matters as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
