Smart Wind Turbines
Envision’s smart wind platform integrates advanced sensing, digital models and digital twin technologies via the Galileo SuperSense System. Energy Storage
The energy storage platform provides full-stack capabilities across battery cells, BMS, PCS, EMS and SCADA, delivering integrated end-to-end solutions. Green Hydrogen
Envision is developing large-scale integrated green hydrogen and ammonia industrial parks, including one of the world’s largest net-zero hydrogen projects in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia (1.5 million tons planned annual capacity).
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, with particular exposure to renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
- Support the negotiation and execution of customer and project contracts, including equipment supply, turbine supply, BESS, long-term service, EPC/BOP and other project-related agreements.
- Work closely with commercial, sales, project, finance and technical teams to identify legal and contractual risks and develop pragmatic solutions that support successful deal execution.
- Support the Legal Director and regional management on legal matters arising across the UK and European business.
- Provide ongoing contractual advice during project execution, including interpretation of contractual obligations, risk allocation, claims and commercial negotiations.
- Support UK and European regulatory, compliance and certification matters relevant to the business.
- Provide legal support to other corporate functions, including Finance, HR and Procurement, where required.
- Work collaboratively with Envision's global legal and commercial teams to ensure consistency of approach across international transactions.
- Help develop and improve legal processes, contract management practices, templates and internal guidance.
- Deliver practical legal training to business stakeholders on relevant contractual, compliance and legal topics.
- Coordinate with and manage external legal counsel where specialist or jurisdiction-specific advice is required.

Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer in England & Wales or Scotland, with approximately 4 years PQE.
- Experience gained within a well-regarded law firm and/or the legal team of an international company.
- Strong grounding in commercial contracts, ideally with exposure to projects, construction, infrastructure, energy or other complex B2B transactions.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts governed by English law.
- Renewable energy experience is highly desirable, particularly exposure to wind, BESS or other large-scale energy projects, but is not essential where the candidate brings strong transferable projects or commercial experience.
- Comfortable working with complex contractual arrangements and identifying, communicating and mitigating commercial and legal risk.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to balance legal protection with the commercial objectives of the business.
- Able to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical recommendations for non-legal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities and operating in a fast-moving international environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures, functions and jurisdictions.
