Legal Officer (Governance) - Practice Support Team
Legal Officer (Housing Disrepair) - Regulatory Team

These are exciting opportunities to join a forward-thinking and supportive legal team, working across a diverse range of governance, housing and property matters. Legal Officer (Housing Disrepair)
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Officer (Housing Disrepair) to join our in-house Regulatory Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in managing housing disrepair claims and related legal matters, helping to protect the organisation's interests while delivering positive outcomes for residents.
- Working closely with client services and key stakeholders, you will coordinate the investigation, management, and resolution of housing disrepair cases, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
- You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services by supporting dispute resolution processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and promoting best practice across the organisation.

Legal Officer (Governance)
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Officer (Governance) to join our in-house Practice Support Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in supporting the Monitoring Officer in the discharge of North Northamptonshire Council's statutory governance functions, with particular responsibility for standards matters and the administration of complaints under the Members' Code of Conduct.
- Working closely with elected Members, officers and key stakeholders, you will help ensure compliance with legislation and the Council's Constitution while promoting the highest standards of ethical governance.
- You will coordinate the management of governance and standards matters, contribute to the effective operation of the Council's decision-making processes, and support the continuous development of governance frameworks and procedures.

Legal Officer (Property)
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Officer (Property) to join our in-house Regulatory Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing legal casework relating to property and land matters, including Right to Buy transactions and a range of other routine property matters.
- Working closely with client services and external partners, you will support the delivery of high-quality legal services by facilitating property transactions, resolving routine legal issues, and contributing to the effective achievement of Legal Services' objectives.
- You will work across a varied caseload, helping to ensure matters are progressed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and case management skills, together with an interest in property law and local government services. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality services, driving continuous improvement, and making a positive impact on residents and communities.
