Legal Officer x 3
35 hours per week, 3 fixed term contracts available (until July 2027)
Salary range per annum: £46,623 to £58,089*
Location: RCN UK HQ, Northern Ireland HQ & Leeds with hybrid working (40%)
There may be further flexibility to the locations advertised. Please contact the recruiting manager to discuss if alternative office locations are available.
The role
As a Legal Officer you’ll use your positive attitude and initiative, your excellent communication, written and presentation skills, and your ability to maintain the highest professional standards whilst working within tight timescales to deliver legal advice, support and representation to RCN members in all aspects of regulatory law.
The person
You will be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, CILEX Fellow or CILEX Lawyer with experience in handling a large caseload of Regulatory cases.
Working within a team, you will deliver excellent customer service to our members whilst maintaining the highest professional standards ensuring that you manage your time effectively and meet all deadlines.

*We offer a competitive pay structure with annual pay progression until you reach the top of the salary scale. We normally offer new employees the first point of the salary range, although you may be able to negotiate a higher starting salary depending on your skills, experience and current salary.
