Join our Legal Services team

At Vico Homes, our Legal Services team plays a vital role in protecting the organisation, supporting operational services and helping us deliver excellent outcomes for our customers and communities. The team provides specialist legal advice and representation across a broad range of litigation and property matters, helping the organisation manage risk, enforce tenancy obligations and support service delivery.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join us as a Litigation Legal Officer.

What you’ll do

  • Manage your own litigation caseload with supervision, providing regular progress updates and seeking specialist guidance when needed.
  • Represent Vico Homes in court in civil enforcement proceedings, including antisocial behaviour injunctions, committal and contempt proceedings, possession proceedings and demotion orders.
  • Advise on and conduct other civil litigation matters, including disrepair claims, access injunctions, trespass and encroachment, pre-action protocols and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Draft statements of case, witness statements, affidavits, instructions to Counsel and other legal documents, and instruct Counsel where appropriate.
  • Provide practical legal advice and guidance to colleagues on the legal functions, remedies and powers relevant to a registered provider of social housing.
  • Monitor developments in housing law, explain their implications and support effective implementation across the organisation.
  • Deliver training and contribute to the development of colleagues involved in tenancy enforcement and related work.
  • Build effective working relationships across Vico Homes and with external legal and professional contacts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
