Legal Operations Business Partner

We're working with a leading international law firm that is investing heavily in the future of legal service delivery and is looking to appoint a Legal Operations Business Partner to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how legal services are delivered, combining process improvement, legal project management, technology and AI to drive better outcomes for both lawyers and clients.

This is far more than a traditional operations role. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, helping to identify opportunities for change, design innovative solutions and lead initiatives that improve efficiency, profitability and client experience. You'll have the chance to influence strategy, embed new ways of working and support the adoption of emerging technologies that are transforming the legal sector.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
