What you will do
The successful person will partner with the Trust Team to lead and manage important Legal Operations and continuous improvements thereof using metrics, accountability, analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and discussion. Commvault’s Trust Ops team supports the wider team leveraging industry best practices, including planning and managing all activities of the team. Leverages their own expertise or brings in subject matter experts for plan execution and substance. Provides strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application, and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
- Supports all functions of Legal and Trust
- Manage all Legal’s AI, tools and vendors, along with the department’s budget and projects
- Identify, plan and execute on areas of improvement
- Liaison for Legal to the cross-functional business functions
- Contract and marketing collateral management, optimization and reporting
- Legal entity management
- Negotiate NDAs and low-end contracts; pathway to expand contract negotiation skills

Who You Are
- 3-5 years of experience in Legal Operations, Legal Project Management, Corporate Legal, or a related operational leadership role within a technology organisation.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong understanding of legal department operations, including legal technology, contract lifecycle management, and reporting.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, operational excellence, and change management initiatives using data and metrics to measure success.
- Experience managing departmental budgets, vendors, and legal technology solutions.
- Strong project and programme management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering effectively across Legal, Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, and other business functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are advantageous.
Experience That Could Set You Apart
- Experience leading global legal operations programmes across multiple regions.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled legal technologies and automation tools.
- Experience working in Technology, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Cyber Resilience, Cyber Security, Data Management, or Backup and Recovery Software environments.
