Legal Operations Specialist, EMEA (Contract)
Location: Remote (UK / EMEA)
Duration: 12 Months
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $60–$70/hour USD
Our client is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to support its EMEA legal team on a contract basis. This role will focus on temporary legal professional and outside counsel operations, working across onboarding, contract administration, reporting, compliance tracking, and legal operations workflows in a fast-paced, global environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of temporary legal professionals, including onboarding, extensions, offboarding, and coordination of system access and provisioning.
- Support execution of outside counsel engagement documents, including MRAs, SOWs, and related legal vendor documentation.
- Track and report on key legal operations metrics, partnering with finance, workforce operations teams, and legal stakeholders.
- Coordinate vendor due diligence and approval processes, including initiation, status tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
- Conduct recurring audits of temporary legal professional records, system access, job titles, and tenure to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Manage intake requests through the legal team's internal case management platform and help route matters appropriately.
- Assist with operational projects, process improvements, reporting, and documentation as needed.

- Experience in legal operations, legal administration, vendor management, workforce operations, or a related function.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience supporting onboarding, contract management, compliance, or legal vendor processes.
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
