Legal PA | Central London | up to £40k with hybrid working

A boutique London law firm is looking for an experienced Legal PA to join its busy and professional support team. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work closely with lawyers and clients while providing high-quality administrative and organisational support.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and amending legal documents using Microsoft Word and internal document management systems
  • Preparing documents for electronic signature
  • Assisting with billing and processing client and business expenses
  • Supporting marketing activities and events
  • Scanning, filing and maintaining electronic and paper case files
  • Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately
  • Arranging couriers, taxis, hotels and travel, including preparing itineraries
  • Managing diaries and arranging meetings, lunches and dinners
  • Archiving completed matters and preparing files for secure offsite storage
  • Assisting with conflict checks and new file openings
  • Preparing documents and data for use by external firms
  • Processing payment requests in line with internal procedures
  • Participating in a rota to provide switchboard cover
  • Providing support and holiday/absence cover for other PAs when required

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Legal PA, ideally within a law firm
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, lawyers and colleagues at all levels
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with a legal case or document management system is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Land Registry and online property platforms would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
