Legal Personal Assistant – Corporate and Employment
Edinburgh
Full Time Position - 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm)
We are seeking a confident and organised individual to support two partners in our Corporate team and a partner in our Employment Law team. This is an exciting opportunity to assist a cluster of dynamic partners.

Key Responsibilities Include
Diary and Team Support
- Monitor emails.
- Manage team diaries, arrange appointments and schedule meetings.
- Provide general support to fee earners to improve workflow and efficiency.

Document Preparation
- Update corporate documents based on manuscript amendments.
- Draft Companies House forms.
- Collate and prepare bundles for Employment Tribunal proceedings.
- Proficiency with Adobe for document compilation and editing is essential.
Client Interaction
- Manage client onboarding via the Amiqus system, ensuring conflict checks and compliance requirements are met.
- Handle incoming calls from existing and prospective clients with professionalism.
Billing And Compliance
- Prepare fees and assist with monthly billing in line with firm guidelines.
- Support fee earners in managing work in progress and aged debts.
Administrative Support
- Typing, document production and file management with a high level of accuracy.
- Meet and greet clients and provide a professional first impression of the firm.
- Provide digital dictation support using Diktamen.

You will provide general support to fee earners to improve workflow and efficiency. To be successful in this role, ideally you should have previous experience as a PA or legal executive or similar role. Strong organisational skills are key, along with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure. We are also looking for strong client care skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe and other relevant software packages. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, efficient and brings a proactive, innovative approach to supporting fee earners. You should be a team player who is adaptable and keen to contribute to ongoing improvements within the department.
