Legal PA
Family and Private Wealth lawyers work across time zones and need a PA who can keep pace. Join a top law firm as a Legal PA and make their day run smoothly.
A top law firm is looking for a Legal PA to support its Family and Private Wealth lawyers in London.
This is a fee earner focused role within the Legal Operations team, part of a wider Legal Support Services department built around innovative tools and frictionless service. You will support a group of lawyers with real client contact, as part of a friendly and high-performing team.
What you will do
- Be the first point of contact for your fee earners, handling calls, emails, and meeting requests
- Manage calendars across multiple time zones
- Manage all business travel through the in-house provider, with itineraries and expenses
- Support billing: set files up with the right rates and discounts, check Money on Account, produce accurate bills and chase unpaid ones with Credit Control
- Support the full client and matter lifecycle, including conflict checks, CDD and KYC, retainer letters and closing and archiving files
- Organise business meals and log referrals and contacts in InterAction
- Delegate formatting and production to the Document Production Unit and other support teams
- Cover for Senior Legal PAs when needed

- Previous administrative experience supporting a team in a professional services environment, ideally legal
- Excellent time management and the ability to reprioritise at speed
- Strong MS Office skills and a willingness to learn new software
- Real attention to detail, including with compliance and quality control processes
- High levels of discretion with sensitive information
- Warm, professional written and spoken communication
