We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Legal Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join their busy and supportive law firm in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing role while providing administrative support to a busy legal team. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding client service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Managing appointments and meeting room bookings
- Opening and maintaining client files
- Completing client onboarding and identity verification checks
- Preparing routine legal correspondence and documents
- Supporting solicitors and fee earners with administrative tasks
- Liaising with clients and third parties
- General office administration

Requirements
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or legal support role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A proactive, reliable approach and the ability to manage a varied workload
- A commitment to confidentiality and delivering excellent client care
