We’re excited to be expanding our team and are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our Legal Recruitment division on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong professional relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to develop a long-term career within specialist legal recruitment.

You’ll play a key role in connecting talented legal professionals with law firms and in-house legal teams across the UK, while developing your own client base and becoming a trusted recruitment partner within the legal market.

Main duties will include:

  • Proactively sourcing legal professionals through Bullhorn, Reed, CV Library and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within the legal sector
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with solicitors, legal executives, paralegals and law firms
  • Formatting and presenting candidate CVs to a high professional standard
  • Taking detailed job briefs directly from clients and understanding their hiring requirements
  • Creating engaging job advertisements for legal vacancies across our website and job boards
  • Managing applications and actively searching for suitable candidates across multiple channels
  • Providing an honest, consultative recruitment service to both clients and candidates
  • Coordinating interviews and preparing candidates thoroughly ahead of meetings with clients
  • Negotiating offers and managing expectations throughout the recruitment process

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or an office-based customer service environment, with the confidence to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build instant rapport and credibility
  • A confident, resilient and tenacious approach to challenges
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
  • Confidence using everyday IT systems and willingness to learn recruitment software and CRM platforms
  • A genuine interest in the legal sector and desire to develop market knowledge
  • A proactive, commercially driven mindset with the ambition to succeed in a competitive market
