Legal Risk Counsel
London | Leading International Law Firm
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer to take on a broad, senior-level advisory role at the heart of the firm's legal and risk function.
The Role
You will provide practical, commercially focused advice on complex business acceptance matters and help the firm identify, manage and resolve legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
- Advising on complex business acceptance and risk issues
- Providing guidance on AML, financial crime, sanctions and client due diligence
- Advising on legal and commercial conflicts of interest
- Supporting the resolution of higher-risk client and matter acceptance issues
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across an international firm
- Contributing to policy development, process improvement and wider risk initiatives
- Supporting training and awareness across the business

About You
We're looking for a qualified lawyer with significant experience gained within a commercial or international environment.
You will have strong experience advising on complex issues relating to business acceptance, financial crime, AML, sanctions and/or conflicts.
