Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our law firm, working with the busy UK Inbound Immigration team. You will be a proactive and high-energy individual, with a can-do approach to your work and willing to support multiple fee earners with very busy caseloads. This demanding role will provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference to a highly successful and busy immigration and human rights practice.

- A levels or equivalent
Key Role Outcomes
- Filing management: Management of the firm’s filing system. Organising an efficient and seamless process for filing correspondence, court documents, and drafts amongst others from a number of different sources.
- File opening and closing: Conducting conflict checks, drafting CCLs and ensuring all ML compliance is adhered to. Liaising with the compliance team and fee earners in relation to information still required. Monitoring progress and once complete, opening files and transferring all compliance documentation to the system. Logging original documents in and out of the safe and keeping records updated.
- Emails: Continued review of team emails when on leave ensuring that key messages are passed on or brought to the Partner’s attention in a timely manner. Action points raised where required.
- Secretarial: Other ad-hoc duties as required including printing, scanning and photocopying, as well as provide ad hoc cover on the reception desk.

The Ideal Candidate
You will be a flexible and enthusiastic self-starter, ready to put your hand to any task that may be asked of you. Previous experience in a similar role at a law firm is desirable.
