We have an opportunity for a Legal Secretary to work as part of a team providing secretarial and administrative support to a group of Partners and designated fee earners in our Litigation team.
This is a full time role, based in our Guernsey office.
Principal Duties Will Include
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the team.
- Manage diaries, inboxes, correspondence and telephone enquiries.
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and minute-taking.
- Maintain case files, records, databases and document management systems.
- Prepare, format and process legal and business documentation.
- Support client matters and legal processes under supervision.
- Assist with billing, budgets, fee estimates, WIP and other financial administration.
- Conduct conflict checks and support matter management processes.
- Contribute to projects, team initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Undertake additional administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of education along with:
- Previous legal secretarial or personal assistant experience and familiarity with legal documentation and terminology
- Must be educated to a minimum of GCSE-level (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically in Word processing
- Good typing speeds and accuracy are essential
- Secretarial / administration qualifications would be advantageous
