Legal Secretary Litigation/Trademarks

Our client is a specialist IP practice with a dedicated team of solicitors and Trademark attorneys supported by Paralegals and legal secretaries. The firm with offices in the UK and Europe have an outstanding reputation, with a brand new HQ in the City, they are an impressive firm inside and out.
This is a new opportunity for a legal secretary who enjoys working closely with fee earners and clients and will benefit from the variety of experience on offer and the potential development in the role.
This role will assist a Partner solicitor and wider team…alongside an experienced Senior legal PA

- Preparing letters and formal documents
- Working on agreements
- Attending to daily admin; file management, email filing, scanning and photocopying
- Assisting with court documents and bundles
- Sending emails on behalf of solicitors
- Completing conflict checks
- Calculating and preparing client invoices, to include debit and credit notes
- Opening and closing case files in the systems, Inprotech and CMS
- Adding and updating deadline dates in Inprotech and diaries
- Completing expenses requests
- PA duties such as arranging travel, booking flights and keeping diaries up to date
Person Specification:
- Previous legal secretarial experience
- Knowledge or experience of Intellectual Property and litigation
- Strong typing and keyboard skills
- Previous experience of working with digital dictation and audio typing
- Experience in billing clients and working within a complex billing structure
