The Role
We are currently looking for strong administrators ideally with a minimum of two years administration experience. Background in legal and medical advantageous.
Following extensive training, you will be working in a pool of Legal Secretaries assisting a number of Lawyers. The job is varied with not just typing and file management, but preparing bundles, taking and making calls to clients, arranging meetings & conferences.

Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively within a pool of Legal Secretaries to support multiple Lawyers.
- Working in one stream of work either Road Traffic Accidents, Employers’ Liability, or Occupiers & Public Liability.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation, including pleadings and court bundles.
- Photocopying and scanning documents, with support from the Administration team where required.
- Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, and liaising with Lawyers, clients, Counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Providing support to fellow Legal Secretaries and the wider administration team as required.
- Assisting with updates to the Proclaim case management system where appropriate.
Person Specification
- Demonstrable two years previous administration experience, background in legal and medical advantageous.
- Strong comprehension of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- IT literate.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise daily workload and experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior exposure to Proclaim case management system is desirable.
- Excellent word processing and audio typing skills.
- Audio typing speed of 65+ words per minute.
- Use of digital dictation, ideally Diktamen would be beneficial.

Salary & Hours
- A basic salary of up to £28,000.
- Our standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.
