Fantastic Opportunity with a Law Firm

We have a fantastic opportunity with a well-established law firm looking to appoint a Legal Secretary/PA to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal PA, or someone looking to take the next step in their career, to provide direct support to Fee Earners within a busy Private Client team, helping them operate at optimum efficiency.

The firm is committed to delivering expert, clear advice and outstanding client service within a supportive and proactive team environment.

If you have Private Client experience, strong initiative and are looking for your next career step with a firm that values its people, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Prepare and produce high-quality legal correspondence and documents using audio typing and word processing.
  • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring documents are accurately filed, stored and retrieved in line with firm procedures.
  • Coordinate diaries, appointments and meetings for fee earners, ensuring schedules are kept organised and up to date.
  • Provide professional and friendly support to clients, both in person and over the telephone, delivering a high standard of client care at all times.
  • Use the firm’s case management systems and online platforms to ensure information and documentation are accurately maintained and up to date.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Substantial previous legal secretarial experience, ideally with at least two years’ experience within the relevant specialist area.
  • A good standard of general education, with strong and accurate touch-typing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to use initiative and progress client matters independently when required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing a high standard of client care and working effectively as part of a team.
