Commercial Property Legal Secretary | Top 100 Law Firm
Salary: up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Leicester
I'm currently working with an excellent Top 100 and highly regarded UK law firm who are looking for an experienced and organised Legal Secretary to join their established Commercial Property team in Leicester!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident legal secretary who enjoys providing high-quality support to fee earners and wants to play an important role within a friendly and well-established team.
The Role:
You’ll work closely with the Commercial Property team, providing day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to fee earners and helping to ensure client matters are handled efficiently and accurately.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents
- Audio typing, proofreading and preparing correspondence
- Transcribing letters, emails and other documentation
- Scanning, paginating and photocopying documents
- Opening new client files and carrying out ID checks
- Preparing client care letters and related documentation
- Maintaining accurate electronic files and document management systems
- Supporting fee earners with their day-to-day administrative requirements
- Providing general secretarial and administrative assistance across the team

About you:
- Experienced as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator or in a similar legal support position
- Ideally experienced within Commercial Property, although relevant legal secretarial experience from another practice area will be considered
- Comfortable preparing, formatting and amending legal documentation
- Experienced in document management and maintaining well-organised files
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage competing priorities and a varied workload
- A confident communicator who works well as part of a team
- Comfortable with audio typing and possesses strong typing skills
- Professional, proactive and keen to develop their legal support experience
- Confident using Microsoft Office and document management systems
