A well-established and reputable law firm based in North West London is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide dedicated support to one of its Solicitors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Legal Secretary with residential conveyancing experience and commercial property experience. The successful candidate will have an understanding of commercial property matters and be confident providing administrative and legal support across both areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Partner within the Conveyancing department
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, contracts and typing via digital dictation
  • Managing residential conveyancing matters including completion and post-completion
  • Preparing contract packs, completion statements and supporting documentation
  • Opening files, conducting AML checks and managing compliance procedures
  • Assisting with Land Registry applications, registrations and SDLT submissions
  • Supporting commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases and portfolio acquisitions
  • Assisting with commercial conveyancing matters, including lease and transaction documentation
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and third parties throughout the conveyancing process
