Legal Secretary: Conveyancing, Surrey

Salary: Circa GBP 30,000 DOE

About the Opportunity

Excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive Residential Conveyancing team, working closely alongside a dedicated Fee Earner within a close knit department. This is a full-time, office-based position offering a supportive working environment.

Job Details

  • Role: Full-time, office-based
  • Location: Surrey office
  • Team: Department comprising two Fee Earners and two Secretaries

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Fee Earner across a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
  • Assisting with the preparation and management of conveyancing documentation, correspondence, and general file administration.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, and other relevant parties throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring a professional and high standard of client care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and ensuring deadlines and key dates are diarised and monitored effectively.
  • Using the LEAP case management system to manage files and assist with the efficient progression of matters.
  • Experience using digital dictation and legal case management systems would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements
